Drew began his career in the medical device industry in 1984. He joined Carl Zeiss in 1988 and quickly advanced to Area Sales Manager for the Northeastern United States. In 1996, he founded Micro Image Technologies, Inc., where he continues to serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to surgeons, operating room staff, and hospital administration. By delivering cutting-edge solutions, Drew and his team enable their clients to stay at the forefront of medical technology. As Drew says, “At the end of the day, it’s about providing the necessary tools that allow surgeons and hospital staff to maximize their full potential and ultimately provide the best possible patient outcomes.”

Founding Vision & Company Leadership

Since founding Micro Image Technologies in 1996, Drew has guided the company as a premier partner to world-class surgeons and leading hospitals across the Northeast. Partnering closely with President Stuart Maschmeier, he continues to shape the strategic direction and innovative culture that have defined the organization for nearly three decades.

Community & Personal Commitment

A resident of Manhattan and New Jersey, Drew is deeply involved in philanthropic efforts. He actively supports organizations including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Drew has also traveled to Uganda, Africa, to participate in medical missions that bring critical care to underserved communities.  Drew is a graduate of Stockton University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and also studied International Commerce at the University of Wollongong, Australia.

Stuart Maschmeier joined Micro Image Technologies in 2019, bringing more than 25 years of distinguished experience in capital surgical sales and management. Known for his dedication to building strong customer relationships, solution-oriented approach, and tireless work ethic, Stuart has consistently been recognized as a leader within his field.

Presidency & Company Vision

In 2025, Stuart became President of Micro Image Technologies, partnering with Drew Messler to lead the company forward. In his role, Stuart drives the company’s mission to deliver innovative solutions, exceptional service, and meaningful support to surgical teams and healthcare institutions across the region.

Community & Personal Commitment

Beyond his decades of professional accomplishments, Stuart is deeply committed to his family, children and community. He and his wife, Marie Maschmeier, founded The Saint Michael Trust, the charitable division of Micro Image Technologies.
